Kevin's Batman Party

I guess this is the year of Batman at the Davis household. I was shocked when that is what Kevin picked out as a Halloween costume in October, so you can also imagine how shocked I was when he wanted a Batman birthday party. I have absolutely NO clue how the child even knows who Batman is! :)

The cake turned out to be AMAZING - both in looks and taste (which is probably where my latest 3 lbs. came from)! The kids seemed to have a good time... although things can get a little crazy trying to keep up with them. Brian got a TRUE test of what that was all about since I tasked him with keeping up with Kevin. Which of course meant that he not only had to keep up with the boy, but he also had to deal with me saying "where's Kevin?" every 5 minutes.

All in all, it was a great time and the best part was NO CLEAN-UP for mommy! :) Nearly a week later, Kevin still sleeps with the Batman and Batmobile figurines from the cake. Amazing what kids will consider "treasures".

Thanks to everyone who made it to the party! Our lives wouldn't be the same without you! And to those of you, especially family, that couldn't make it... we look forward to being with you VERY soon! :)

Kevin turned 3 on Thursday and among the many presents was this police uniform from Nin, Naint and Mikey. Needless to say it was a HIT with him... he thinks the radio is a phone, and the whistle is driving mom & dad crazy, but he's just SO cute in it...how can you be upset? :) We have plans for a party with his little friends tomorrow, so we will post more pictures and birthday details then!

Hudson's 3rd Birthday Party!

We had a great day yesterday with Hudson, Sally & Jared! I think it made us miss them even more than we already did, but we are SO thankful for the time we were able to spend together. Many of you know that they moved about an hour away from us to Van Buren, so they really aren't THAT far away! But far enough that we don't see them as much as we would like!
Hudson's 3rd birthday was yesterday and we had the privilege of spending it with him! The boys played really great together and had a blast at Fun City so I thought I would share some pictures! We can't wait until we can do it all over again in a couple weeks for Kevin's birthday! :)
